YOUNG PROFESSIONALS:

The Future of the Greensboro Jewish Community

The Young Adult Division of the Greensboro Jewish Federation brings together vibrant, motivated Jewish adults ages 22 to 45 who are seeking meaningful connection—both to Jewish life and to one another.

Through leadership development, cultural and educational programs, social and networking events, and travel experiences, young adults have the opportunity to grow personally and professionally while strengthening their Jewish identity.

Jewish young adults can build their careers and grow their families together, through shared values and a commitment to shape a stronger Jewish future. The Federation proudly supports this journey—cultivating the next generation of leaders, philanthropists, and engaged community members.

G-FLI (Greensboro Federation Leadership Institute), an 18-month Federation leadership program, engaged and developed three Cohorts of future Jewish leaders in Greensboro. Participants explored leadership through a Jewish lens, combining immersive education, mentorship, and hands-on experiences.

Each participant was paired with a mentor, and the curriculum—developed in partnership with the Center for Creative Leadership and expert Jewish and secular educators—focused on strengthening leadership identity and community involvement. G-FLI gave emerging leaders the tools, knowledge, and connections to lead and serve within the Greensboro Jewish community.

While the G-FLI program has now concluded, its impact continues to be felt across our community. Stay tuned for the next exciting chapter in leadership development—new opportunities are on the horizon!
