The Greensboro Jewish Federation is thrilled to invite you to join us for our first ever CAMPAIGN ISRAEL SERIES featuring a wide range of virtual events with stimulating topics surrounding Israel, its people and our relationship with them. 




Upcoming programs to enjoy with friends and family:  




  • Tuesday, April 13 at 5:30 p.m.

    Actor Yaakov Zada Daniel, who plays a member of the elite IDF anti-terror unit in the show, and Boaz Konforty who plays Avihai, a member of the counter-terrorist unit who is always ready to jump into action. The stars will share their experiences on the show and answer questions from the host, Jewish Federation of New Bedford Executive Director Amir Cohen.

  • Wednesday, April 14 at Noon

    Join P2G on a flight over Israel with Alon Moller, a retired Lieutenant Colonel from the IDF- Air Force.

    Alon resides in Kibbutz Mishmarot and is a tour guide and freelance helicopter pilot who shows Israel in a way that can only be seen from a bird's-eye view.

  • Wednesday, April 14 at 7 p.m.

    Greensboro Community Yom HaAtzmaut celebration, hosted by Temple Emanuel:

    Join the community in celebrating Israel's birthday! The celebration will begin with a Yom Hazikaron ceremony, then featured speaker Eyal Carlin, the Israeli Tourism Commissioner to North America, will speak about the rebranding of Israel and tourism as outreach to American audiences and societies.



  • Friday, April 16 at Noon

    Reclaiming the Jewish community's place in the discussion about Intersectionality:

    How can one be progressive, LGBTQ, a person of color, left wing and pro-Israel?

    Co-sponsored by Guilford Green. This event is free.


  • Sunday, April 18 at 5 p.m.

    Virtual Wine Tasting presented by Partnership2Gether and Engagement Committee:

    A wine tasting experience from wineries within the Hadera-Eiron region of Israel, hosted by Guy Haran.

    $50 fee includes 2 bottles of wine, shipping from Israel and session with Guy Haran.
    Registration must be completed by Friday, April 2 to participate.


  • Sunday, April 18 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

    The Ghassan’s food truck will be cooking up falafel and other delicious lunch food to purchase.

    Weather permitting, Shop at Beth David's Pop-Up Sisterhood Gift Shop, featuring many items created and designed by Israeli artists.

    Also, Greensboro Hadassah is joining the fun at the Falafel Food Truck Tailgate. Weather permitting, stop by the Hadassah Greensboro table to find out more about the active local chapter and pick up a FREE giveaway.
