The headlines and the details from Boulder this past Sunday were horrifying.

The Greensboro Run4TheirLives group, initiated by Israelis in our community last summer, has been walking peacefully every other week to keep the remaining 56 hostages being held by Hamas terrorists in Gaza in our hearts. By doing this, we let hostage families know that we haven’t forgotten them.

Each walk is 18 minutes long. We hold pictures of the hostages together with American and Israeli flags. Other than "Bring Them Home Now," there are no other slogans, either pro- nor anti-, present as we walk.

If you are in town, please make every effort to be there. Wear a red shirt, if possible.
