Dr. Rick Schneid, Herman and Louise Smith Professor of History, High Point University, will give us New Perspectives on World War II. It has been 80 years since the war ended and historians have fresh examinations on the participation and outcome of the events. JFS is excited to have Dr. Schneid impart his expertise on this subject and answer questions.

Dr. Rick Schneid, Herman and Louise Smith Professor of History at High Point University is a military historian. He served as the Charles Boal Ewing Chair of Military History at the United States Military Academy at West Point for the 2023-2024 academy year.  He is author of numerous books, articles and chapters in European military history.  He teaches courses on European history, including the Second World War and the Holocaust at High Point University.
