Dor l’dor, the passing of values from one generation to the next, is one of the most fundamental and closely-held tenets of Judaism. Now is the time to fulfill our obligation of dor l’dor.

As our parents and grandparents have done before us, we must now plant for our children. Create a Jewish Legacy brings our small but vibrant community together with a common goal: flourishing Jewish life in Greensboro for generations to come. This program provides members of the Jewish community an opportunity to support local agencies through bequests and other planned gifts.

American Hebrew Academy, Beth David Synagogue, B'nai Shalom Day School, Greensboro Jewish Federation, and Temple Emanuel have partnered with the Jewish Foundation of Greensboro to make the Jewish community aware how straightforward it can be to leave a meaningful charitable legacy.

For more information on how you can join the 49 Greensboro families who together have designated 152 legacy gifts, please contact Susan R. Gutterman, J.D., Endowment Director, at 336-852-0099 or
