Navigating Antisemitism- Tools for parents and Educators
Wednesday, February 26, at 11 a.m.
In today’s world, antisemitism is on the rise to unimaginable levels, and many parents and educators struggle with how to address it with children. How do we explain hate while fostering resilience? How can we equip the next generation with the tools to navigate these challenges with strength and confidence? And how can we maintain a positive Jewish identity for them?
Join us for an important Zoom conversation with Tali Versano Eisman, a psychotherapist, mental resilience expert, and lecturer. With extensive experience working with young audiences—including as a media spokesperson for children in the IDF Home Front Command. Tali will provide practical tools and insights for talking to kids about antisemitism in a way that empowers them rather than instills fear.
We will focus on ways to build their emotional resilience, maintain a positive Jewish identity, and how to provide practical tools for navigating challenging social encounters in schools and online spaces.
Opening remarks by Ayelet Nahmias Verbin, JReady's Chair.
