The Virginia Holocaust Museum with Violins of Hope presents a special concert of Jewish Composers whose music was suppressed by the Nazis during the 1930s and 40s. This concert highlights the beauty and power of the music by these long-neglected composers. History may have rendered these"lost" composers silent for decades, but today we can celebrate their spirits by allowing their voices to sing out again. The concert will be performed on restored violins, viola and cello. By presenting their music, we can bring them justice by playing their music 80 years after.
General admission: $10
