One of the best books I’ve read recently is Dara Horn’s latest release: "People Love Dead Jews: Reports from a Haunted Present". Horn, a scholar of Jewish literature, is best known for her fictional works. People Love Dead Jews is a work of non-fiction that is a must-read for anyone wishing to know more about the reality of antisemitism in our times.
On the evening of Tuesday, March 22, Temple will have a book club hosted by the Sisterhood. This will take place at 7:00 p.m. at Temple Emanuel. Rabbi Fisher and I will share thoughts and lead a discussion program which all are invited to join.
