The GJF Partnership Together group is hosting a five-part series on Israeli chefs.
The first event in the series is Tuesday, February 7
at 6 p.m. at the home of Rabbi Sneiderman
This series will provide hands-on exposure to Israeli cuisine. Each week we will learn about an Israeli chef, try out one of their recipes, and sample the results. The program will be led by our Shinshiniot, Noya Shapira, and Maskit Galach.
The first session will feature Yisrael Aharoni. Perhaps the most famous chef in Israel, Aharoni is simply referred to by his last name. His signature look embodies the growth of Israel's foody culture. For this session, we will be trying out recipes that connect to Tu b'Shvat (Fruit and Desserts).
