Martin Luther King Day is considered a National Day of Service. For 13 years, The Volunteer Center has hosted a signature event designed to bring our community together to complete service projects benefiting local nonprofit organizations and to learn about the many ways to serve throughout the year.

Service projects are the heart of the MLK Day of Service. Volunteer attendees will be packing snack packs and first aid kits as well as making no-sew blankets for those in need. We will also be creating Valentine's Day cards for seniors.
