It's The Great Purim Escape! Are you able to help find the stash of gold treasure and sail away before the pirates return? Team up with JTriad members in this virtual escape room and figure out a plan to get the gold. We'll put together teams to experience the guide-led virtual escape room. You've got 60 minutes - can you make it?

Registration is required for this event.

Additional details and the Zoom link will be emailed to attendees on February 24th. Due to the nature of this event, late registrants will not be accepted after the deadline.

Here's what you need to know:

  • In celebration of Purim, COSTUMES ARE HIGHLY ENCOURAGED!
  • We will gather on Zoom at 6:45PM to make sure everyone is logged on. Please try to arrive early and be on time. At 7PM, teams will be separated into break out rooms on Zoom, and a guide will join you to take you through the program. Your team will navigate the escape room (like you would in person) solving puzzles and finding clues. You'll control a character like you would a video game.
  • PLEASE NOTE: 1 computer equals 1 log in/character in the escape room. If you are planning to share a computer with someone, you will both control the same character. If you'd like to participate separately, you will need another computer. Computers are recommended over Ipads and Mobile devices.
  • After each team finishes, we will reconvene on Zoom to see the results, talk about the clues, and enjoy more Purim fun!

BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!

As part of this year's COVID-safe Purim celebration, we have a limited number of Mishloach Manot (Purim baskets/boxes) to share with event attendees. The mitzvah of giving Mishloach Manot derives from the Book of Esther and is meant to ensure that everyone has enough food for the Purim feast, as well as to increase love and friendship among Jews and their neighbors. Beth David Synagogue is preparing Mishloach Manot boxes, which include 4 parve hamantaschen, gourmet popcorn, groggers, and candy (no substitutions). If you're interested in receiving a box, you can note this on your RSVP form, and we will do our best to accommodate as many event attendees as possible.

If you have any questions, please reach out to one of the board members. We are looking forward to seeing everyone!
