Our Greensboro Interfaith study mission (sponsored by CFGG, NCCJ and GJF) arrived back from Israel in March, very dedicated to bringing two speakers to Greensboro representing a program called Shorashim/”Roots”. We were all very impressed with their dedication to conflict resolution. The program was founded by two individuals, Rabbi Hanan Schlesinger and Ali Abu Awaad of Israel/Palestine. They will join us as part of a speaking trip through North Carolina. Amanda Fonorow and Ellen Sheridan are spearheading this effort along with Rev. Odell Cleveland and Nancy Hoffman and others from our trip.
