The North Carolina State Capitol will host Jewish Heritage North Carolina's exhibit “Down Home: Jewish Life in North Carolina” from April 1st to May 31st, 2022. This exhibit features a timeline of Jewish history in North Carolina, focusing on topics such as family, being southern, commerce, immigration, community, and learning.
On Monday, April 4th at 7pm, visitors are invited to an exhibit opening and reception for "Down Home" taking place at the Capitol. This event will feature a welcome from the Attorney General of North Carolina Josh Stein, and a talk from historian and exhibit curator Dr. Leonard Rogoff. It is free and open to the public.
