Temple Emanuel provides special programming through the Friendship Circle for its senior members and other in the community who are at least fifty-five years young. On the first and third Thursday of each month, participants can join their friends for a variety of activities. Early Bird specials begin at 11:00am with a sing-a-long and the opportunity to have confidential time with Gilda Friedman, the congregational nurse. Rabbi Fred Guttman or Rabbi Any Koren present a D'var Torah at noon with lunch served at 12:15pm. With collaboration with the Adult Center for Enrichment an Extended Day program is also offered.
