I Want To . . .

Get involved with the Jewish Federation to do a world of good! Join the Federation and community members on our shared mission to make the world a better place for all people.

Whether you want to bolster support for Israel, promote inter-group relations or enhance the quality of life for the worldwide Jewish and general communities, our combined voice is the loudest.

Planned giving is not only for the wealthy. Charitable gifts of any size make an important difference in our community. Connect with the Jewish Foundation of Greensboro to find out how your funds can make a bigger difference.

The Federation’s volunteer programs through Jewish Family Services provide meaningful opportunities to make a difference in the lives of others. Find out how you can help strengthen Greensboro’s Jewish and general communities and Jewish communities worldwide.

Federation staff and volunteers help create a vibrant Jewish community by working in partnership with many agencies, organizations, and individuals to strengthen our Jewish family. Together, we serve the needs of people living in the local community, as well as thousands of individuals and families in Israel and the former Soviet Union, and in more than 60 countries worldwide.

  • Volunteer

Our volunteers exemplify the spirit of tikkun olam, or repairing the world. Programs and services offered by Jewish Family Services and the Greensboro Jewish Federation include Friendly Visitors, Mitzvah Day, Holiday Gift Bags, Senior Holiday Luncheons, B’nai Mitzvah projects, and Christmas at Cone Health.

  • Find Holocaust Resources

By confronting and learning how the tragedy of the Holocaust evolved, students recognize the dangers of complacency and, in turn, assert each individual’s responsibility to oppose prejudice. Similar to how we learn about segregation, we hope from studying the Holocaust we, as a community, will be able to progress from our past.
