ISRAEL EXPERIENCES

Israel experiences are transformative journeys that strengthen Jewish identity and create deeper connections to the global Jewish community. The Greensboro Jewish Federation and Jewish Family Services offer grants and scholarships to help ensure that more young people can explore, learn, and experience all that Israel has to offer. Visit the Israel and Overseas Scholarships page to explore all the opportunities.

CAMPS AND CONFERENCES NATIONWIDE

Jewish overnight summer camp is more than just fun—it strengthens Jewish identity, builds lifelong friendships, and fosters independence.

Financial resources are available to help make camp more accessible! Learn more about camps, grants, scholarships, and eligibility by visiting the Overnight Camps Page and explore the full range of funding options in our Camp Funding Opportunity Guide.

The Greensboro Jewish Federation is committed to supporting the next generation of Jewish leaders through Youth Program Grants

ACADEMIC ENRICHMENT

  • JELF: JEWISH EDUCATIONAL LOAN FUND

Jewish Family Services is proud to partner with JELF to help local Jewish students reach their academic goals. JELF’s 0% interest loans help students avoid debt while earning their degrees.

HOLOCAUST STUDIES

Studying and teaching the Holocaust helps preserve the memory of those who perished, honors the resilience of survivors, and reminds us of the dangers of hatred and prejudice.

The Greensboro Jewish Federation supports Holocaust Education by offering financial assistance through the Brenner Scholarship for non-Jewish teachers and college students and the Mark W. Lancberg Holocaust Education Scholarship Fund for North Carolina educators.
