Issy, Israeli Hertzog, our guide, is outstanding!  He shared the story of his Italian grandmother's survival as a teenager during the Holocaust. During that time, she met Issy's grandfather. His grandmother had the largest collection of chanukyot in the world - perhaps 1000 menorot! Issy's mother is involved with a project to empower Arab and Israeli women.

Pictured is Nadia Moffett, a member of our delegation. Nadia is a third or fourth generation member of the Baha'i Faith. She was able to arrange a special visit for our group to the Baha'i gardens in Haifa, which were truly beautiful.
